Everyone knows the classic chili con carne with red beans and beef, but not the special revisited version of it: the Chili Concarneau! This a pretty easy meal to cook when you receive lot of guests at home! 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Kg of Red Beans
  • 600 g of Small-Spotted Catshark
  • 300 g of Shrimps
  • 300 g of Tomatoes
  • 20 cl of Red Wine
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Sweet Pepper
  • 1 Sweet Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. First, begin to slice onions and garlic finely.

2. Cut the sweet pepper into little morsels.

3. Brown the whole in a frying pan with a pretty high quantity of olive oil. Put it to one side.

4. Prepare the fish and slice it in cubes: cook it stock with a bouillon cube.

5. Prepare the shrimps: peel them and slice into little cubes of about 1 cm each.

6. In a frying pan, brown the fish and the shrimps, then add the preparation of onions/garlic/sweet pepper.

7. Add the red beans, carrots slices, tomatoes peeled & mashed. Then add the red wine slightly.

8. Season with salt and pepper.

9. The preparation must stew for 2 hours on medium heat and mix it up from time to time. 

Ready to eat!
