With more than 80 years of tradition, Montagne Noire cultivates the gastronomic know-how of the South-West of France! They have been able to combine their ancestral secrets of production, their know-how, their history and their terroir to perpetuate the tradition of salting since 1933. In 1969, Montagne noire is the first French company to obtain the ''Label Rouge ''(red label) for their dry sausages, they became then leader of dry cured meats under a quality label.
